Sinotec Residential ESS Solution

1.Naming rules

XT Sinotec off grid inverter

HT Sinotec hybrid inverter

2.Quick selection guide

2.1.1 Off-grid

This output mode does not allow the surplus power from the inverter output to be fed back to the grid. Existing solar storage systems products are with this output mode.

2.1.2 Mixed carrying load

In this output mode, it is possible to use either the AC power converted by the inverter to supply the household load or the mains power to supplement it at the same time. Only the EOV and EOH series of solar storage systems are currently available with this output mode.

2.2 Inverter

2.2.1 Output phase

The output phase of our existing solar storage systems products consists of two types, single-phase and split-phase.

2.2.2 Max. PV charging current

The maximum PV charging current is maximum charge current allowed when charging the battery with PV modules.

2.2.3 Max. PV open circuit voltage

The maximum PV open circuit voltage determines the maximum numbers of PV strings can be used together with the inverter of solar storage system.

2.2.4 Max. PV input power

The maximum PV input power is the maximum power of the PV strings allowed to be connected.

Assuming that you have selected LR5-72HGD-570M PV module, the maximum power of one PV module is 570W. Then if there are 9 PV modules connected in series, the maximum power is 5130W (570 * 9 = 5130W). At this time, if we choose the SR-EOV05S-220 solar storage system, its maximum PV input power is 5500W, because 5130W<5500W, so this PV strings can be connected to SR-EOV05C-220 inverter normally.

2.3 Battery

2.3.1 Rated battery energy

The rated battery energy indicates the total energy that the battery can provide to the user over a period of time. The units of rated battery energy include “Wh” and “kWh”.

The rated battery energy of our existing solar storage systems products consists of three types, 1.28kWh, 2.56kWh and 5.12kWh per unit. When several energy storage batteries are used in parallel, the total rated battery energy will increase also.

2.3.2 Max. number of parallel

The maximum number of parallel is the maximum number of batteries allowed to be used in parallel of our solar storage systems.

  • For the XT series only the 8KW support max 6 pcs in parallel.
  • For the HT series all support max 6 pcs machines in parallel.
