2.1 Main info
2.1.1 Rated capacity
The rated capacity is the actual amount of power that the user can extract from the battery in one complete cycle from fully charged to fully discharged. The unit of the rated capacity is “Amp Hour” and is briefly expressed by the letters “Ah.”
The rated capacity of our existing energy storage batteries products consists of two types, 100Ah and 200Ah.
2.1.2 Rated energy
The rated energy indicates the total energy that the battery can provide to the user over a period of time. The units of rated energy include “Wh” and “kWh”.
The rated energy of our existing solar energy storage batteries products consists of two types, 5.12kWh and 10.24kWh per unit. When several energy storage batteries are used in parallel (1~9 units), the total battery rated energy will increase also.
Relationship between capacity and energy:
Energy (Wh) = Capacity (Ah) * Voltage (V)
2.1.3 Max. Num of Parallel
Our energy storage batteries products support to be used in parallel and the maximum number of paralleled is 9. Using the VB5KWH product as an example, the rated energy of one unit is 5.12kWh, so the total energy of nine units connected in parallel is 90kWh.
Before you prepare to use multiple energy storage batteries in parallel, please pay particular attention to the following:
- Connect the grounding wire Remember to connect the grounding wire of each energy storage battery when they are connected in parallel.
Connect the power cord Remember to connect the power cord of each energy storage battery when they are connected in parallel.
If multiple energy storage batteries are used in parallel, bus bar is required.
Connect the signal line In order to ensure proper BMS communication, communication cables need to be prepared to connect all the parallel connected batteries together with the inverter (via RS485 interface).
- Setting the address Before you are ready to power up and activate the energy storage battery, please do not forget to set the address of each energy storage battery. The address should be set as 0~8, and the address of each module cannot be repeated.
2.2 Charge and discharge
2.2.1 Max. Charging Voltage
The maximum charging voltage of our energy storage batteries products is 57.6V. And therefore, during the use of the energy storage battery, please take care that the charging voltage does not exceed 57.6V.
2.2.2 Max. Charging Current
The maximum charging current of our existing solar energy storage batteries products consists of two types, 100A and 150A.
2.2.3 Max. Discharge Current
The maximum diacharging current of our existing solar energy storage batteries products consists of two types, 100A and 200A.
